The Dowlen Family

I keep thinking about changing this site to be about family, faith and fun but have not gotten the soggy fuel beneath my seat to ignite yet.  I post this message more as a personal challenge to get something done.

Here are the goals:

• Change the site and its theme to look more like a great place for my family to hang out and share our thoughts and other life-cahnging "gotta-know-it" stuff
• Combine content from my subdomain where I started some faith/spiritual  articles and ramblings.
• Begin a bit of discipline posting content. I hate blogging and personal sites in general because of the implicit narcissism an the endless volume of noise that drowns out any serious content, thought, or true relational value.  Despite all that, here I go... narcissism and all...
• Invite the Dowlen family and extended family to post their own stuff here, too. I would like us all to promote our businesses and vent or share thoughts. The rest of you get to sit back end soak it in. Maybe we'll let you give feedback once I know I can lock out the spammers and bots. If I am feeling generous (ha!)
